Filmgeschichte in Objekten: Die METROPOLIS-Grafik von Filmarchitekt Otto Hunte

Otto Hunte (1881–1960), der vielleicht bedeutendste Architekt der
Universum-Film AG (Ufa) in den 1920er und 30er Jahren, war für die
Ausstattung vieler Großproduktionen der klassischen deutschen
Filmgeschichte verantwortlich, darunter auch Fritz Langs METROPOLIS
    (1925/26). DFF-Sammlungsleiter Hans-Peter Reichmann spricht über einen
der Entwürfe Otto Huntes von der Zukunftsstadt Metropolis, der zu den am
häufigsten ausgeliehenen Archivobjekten des DFF zählt.

English Podcast Part 3 // DFF-Diversity-Manager Rabih El-Khoury about Film and the Arabic language

What actually is “Arabian”, what does “Arab” mean and when do I use “Arabic”? Does a Moroccan actually understand someone who comes from Lebanon? And what do cinema and music have to do with the Arabic language? Can I see films from the Arabic-speaking world in the DFF cinema? On the occasion of the World Day of the Arabic language on December 18th 2020, in this podcast Frauke Haß talks about all these questions with DFF-Diversity-Manager, Rabih El-Khoury.
